Is Jesus really God?

Short answer

Yes. Jesus forgave sins, received worship, claimed oneness with the Father, and His monotheistic disciples worshiped Him.

Deeper explanation

The claim to deity is not a later addition; it appears in the earliest writings and in the sharp reaction of the religious leaders of His day.

Christianity affirms Jesus as fully God and fully human — not half of each.

“Jesus was only a good moral teacher.”

A good teacher does not claim the right to forgive the world's sin. That claim makes our choice sharper than mere admiration.

AI only helps begin the conversation and is never the final theological authority. Scripture governs, humans shepherd, Christ saves.
