Tier A — Core Gospel
Does God exist?
Short answer
Scripture does not argue God into existence; it introduces Him. The existence of the universe, its order, our moral awareness, and the person of Jesus Christ together point to a personal Creator.
Deeper explanation
The question “why is there something rather than nothing” cannot be answered by something that also began. The Christian answer is that an eternal Person willed this world into being.
Our moral awareness — that cruelty is genuinely wrong, not merely unpopular — is hard to explain if the universe is only matter without purpose.
The decisive point for Christians is not argument but revelation: God has made Himself known in Jesus.
Scripture
- • Romans 1:20 — His invisible attributes... have been clearly perceived in the things that have been made.
- • Psalm 19:1
- • John 1:18
Common objection
“God is just an explanation for what we do not yet understand.”
Christian faith does not place God in the gaps of knowledge, but as the ground of the very order that makes science possible.
AI only helps begin the conversation and is never the final theological authority. Scripture governs, humans shepherd, Christ saves.
